This Joomla plugin / mambot is intended for displaying your Joomla contact component contact information in any content item. The mambot takes the contact information from the Joomla contact component for whatever ID is specified. You can specify which fields you want to display as well as how you want the information displayed.

Usage:

Place these tags in your content item, "{contactinfo contactid}""{/contactinfo}", "contactid" would be the id number of the contact you wish to display. Be sure to use an existing contact ID from your Joomla Contacts component. Then simply enter the fields as you want them displayed in square-bracket characters ex: [name], between the contactinfo tags. Follow the usage example included in the contactinfo.xml file. Anything outside of the square-bracket characters will be displayed as normal. HTML can be used to layout the information as desired.

Finding the Joomla contact ID

In the admin section, go to the "Manage Contacts" component and select the contact you want to display. In the browsers address bar look at the id at the end of the URL, ex: "index2.php?option=com_contact&task=editA&hidemainmenu=1&id=1". In this example the id would be 1.
